Thank you for sharing your views and highlighting martial arts like muay boran and krav maga.
Most experienced martial art exponent, are capable to inflict serious injuries to any untrain human on the streets. It is fortunate that we do not need to resort to such moves that is why all of us wear gloves and protective gear during sparring. The area to hit and the method to strike are also restricted to minimise injury .

However if all these "rules" is lifted and when the situation is life threatening all of us will be able to executing our own form of "krav maga or boran" with ease.

In retrospect that's why all our videos are carefully vet so that no lethal moves are featured.

We will upload basic footage of self defence soon.

If someone were to fall without basic knowledge of breakfalling, very good chance he would break his limbs or even spine.
Even in day to day activities, breakfalling helps. It keeps you agile and boost up your confidence.

Muay thai and sanda

A common question, what is the difference between traditional muay thai and chinese sanda?
In this post,we will clear your doubts with 2 videos of padwork. One using the muay thai and other using sanda.
Look carefully in the different technique used, for example the difference in front kick.
Meanwhile elbow and knee is allow in muay thai rule,on the other hand, sanda uses grapple and moves like back fist.Refer to the attached video.
There you go with the muay thai clip.

Next the sanda video

Feel free to participate as we will be adding more footage of various martial arts.
Also turn to your left, and take part in the poll regarding ''Which martial art is the best form of self defence.''

Flying arm bar

The eye catching flying arm bar is another take down which can be applied effectively.
The arm bar can hurt and immobilise your opponent till submission.
However a simple reversal is included in the video attached. The method is getting to the side of the arm bar and make your sweet escape, meanwhile you can use methods like foot lock to counter attack.
For instructions, check it out at http://youtube.com/watch?v=76bEAM5MjrQ

Flying scissors

In today's post,we will look into a method of take down which is the wonderful flying scissors.
It is an excellent way to bring your opponent down in just a matter of seconds.
Meanwhile there are two main kinds of flying scissors.First would be the basic sliding in which is silat's favourite.

Next would be the more complicated reverse scissors which is easier to bring your opponent down.
It may seems difficult, but practice makes perfect !

Meanwhile, please take part in our survey at the left corner.Thank you for your participation (:
